The Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park, the City’s largest park, is an active park that can be accessed from McIntosh Road, John Reese Parkway and Bent Tree Lane. Foundation Park encompasses nearly 78 acres, 22 of which is wooded. In its preliminary stage, Foundation Park is also now boasting a 1.4 mile mulch topped walking trail that encompasses the entire park and wooded area. Hopes are to finalize the location and work toward more permanent topping (asphalt or gravel) in the future.
